Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 engine catches fire and aborts takeoff

Boeing passenger planes have suffered another safety accident. Southwest Airlines reported that one of its Boeing 737-800 passenger planes was forced to abort takeoff due to an engine fire while preparing to take off in Texas, USA on Thursday (4th). No one was injured in the incident.
The report said that the flight number of the involved flight was 1928, and it was originally scheduled to fly from Texas to Las Vegas. After the crew received a prompt that there might be a problem with the engine, the flight stopped safely.
The local fire department said that one of the two engines of the passenger plane caught fire, fortunately, no one was injured.
According to ABC, the plane carried 154 passengers and 6 crew members. After the incident, Southwest Airlines dispatched a plane from Dallas, Texas to replace the involved plane to complete the flight. The Federal Aviation Administration of the United States is investigating the incident.
